How does it work?

First, set up a contact visit, which is about 45 minutes to an hour.  Melinda will meet you and your pets, get to know their routines and preferences,  go over necessary paperwork, and pick up a key. 

Then you can set up a regular schedule or occasional visits. 

Contact Visit - Free
The first step to getting pet-sitting care. Melinda will meet you and your pets, get to know their routines and preferences,  go over necessary paperwork, and pick up a key.

Daily Visit - $20
Daily visit for 1 to 3 pets.  $1 each for additional pets.
The half hour visit includes any or all of the following:

• feeding/watering pets
• administration of any medications
• 15 min dog walk/playtime
• litter scooping/changing
• Hair brushing
• bring in mail/newspaper
• turn lights on/off
• open/close blinds/drapes
• trash cans in/out
• limited plant watering

Overnight visit - $65
9 p.m. to 7 a.m. for 1 to 4 pets.  Add $5 for 4 to 5 pets, $2 each for 6 or more.


Additional services:

• $30 Pet taxi to vet, day care, etc.
• $5   Each 15 minutes exceeding the half hour visit.
• $10 Key pick-up/drop-off (after the contact visit)
• $20 Errand run for medications, food, litter, etc.
• $20 Check return fee

Holiday fees.  Add $5 per day for the following holidays:

• New Year’s Eve and New Year’s  Day
• Easter weekend, Sat and Sun
• Memorial Day weekend, Sat, Sun, Mon
• July 4
• Labor Day weekend, Sat, Sun, Mon
• Thanksgiving, Thu through Sun
• Christmas, Dec 23 to Dec 27
